My name is Isaiah Oluwafemi, fondly called "Femi" which literally translated to "God love me" I wonder how I was given this name on my christen day, this because the name has really made an impact upon my life. Mind you, this is the only name I was given, I gave myself Isaiah later when I was to be baptised, yes, I was not given any bible name on my naming ceremony, (which I have jokingly said that may be there are few people that attend the ceremony or why is that nobody submit other names for me as it is usually done in Yoruba tradition, where other members of the extended family submit names they want a new baby to bear, in my own case it was not so, well God knows why). Let me start this write-up by giving Glory and Praise to the Almighty God, my creator, the master designer of my life's destiny. My being alive today is credited to His love, kindness, faithfulness and mercy for me over the past years. Except for His unfailing love and care I would not be writing this article. In fact, the Lord has been so good to me so much that I lack words enough that can describe how much care and love the Lord has bestowed upon me. May His name be praised for ever and ever amen.
According to Maria Robinson quotes "Nobody can back and start a new beginning, but anyone can start today and make a new ending" give me a very deep thought that align with my desire to share my life experience with the upcoming youth peradventure if they can learn one or two things from my little experience and avoid some of the pitfall that I have experienced so far.
I want to believe this long essay will benefit the wise one.
